Angie marie: she/her

Hey, hi, howdy. Iโ€™m Angie.

My personal style is National Park, but make it glam.

Iโ€™m an endurance athlete and adventure seeker, but not the first, fastest, or farthest. Iโ€™m just having the most fun (and sharing that stoke with others).

Nature taught me that when I share my stories confidently, thereโ€™s a positive ripple effect on my communities. Now, I work with women, outdoor brands, and underserved communities to turn the bloody, sweaty, scary truth into strategy, action, and community change.

Iโ€™m a creative consultant, storyteller, speaker, and event host for people with something BIG to say, but no clear way to say it (yet).

Outdoor adventure teaches us how to speak up, take up space, and lead with courage.

Itโ€™s what taught me to stop holding back. And itโ€™s how I help others do the same.

My jam is helping people and brands find the voice behind their mission and build something brave enough to be heard across the planet.

I work at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and outdoor grit.

Whether youโ€™re launching a podcast, planning a movement, or trying to bring to life the idea you know youโ€™re meant to, I bring the structure, the spark, and the clarity to get you moving.

My background includes:

  • Over a decade in the nonprofit and outdoor education world, including curriculum design, adaptive recreation, trip leading, and community organizing

  • Professional event planning, creative campaign direction, and community storytelling (shoutout to Wild Woman Marathon & the Gorge Speakeasy)

  • National and local speaking gigs focused on womenโ€™s leadership, inclusion, and truth-telling in the outdoors

  • Writing a book about menstrual cycles, of all things

For the outdoor nerds, my training includes:

  • Wilderness First Responder (National Outdoor Leadership School)

  • First Aid, CPR/AED, and Wilderness First Aid Instructor (American Red Cross)

  • Swiftwater Rescue Technician (Rescue 3)

  • Adaptive whitewater raft guide on the Colorado and Green Rivers

  • Youth outdoor program curriculum writer and event planner

  • Search And Rescue volunteer team member experience

  • AIARE Level 1 (AIARE Decision Making in Avalanche Terrain)

  • SheJumps Oregon Community Ambassador

Some favorite adventures so far:

  • Running a solo 50k through sand dunes

  • Hiking Rim to Rim to Rim through the Grand Canyon

  • Spending 5 weeks in Brazil

  • Rafting through the Grand Canyon for 3 weeks

  • Trekking to Everest Base Camp

  • River guiding on the Colorado and Green Rivers

  • Raising $3,000 for charity through climbing volcanoes (including Mt. Rainier)

  • Biking 206 miles from Seattle to Portland (128 on Day 1, the rest on Day 2, after never having biked more than 35 miles in a day)

  • Running a 100-mile race on Mt. Hood and raising $1,000 to get more girls outside

  • Biking through rural Portugal

^ These wild feats shape how I work: bold, joyful, and not afraid of the uphill.

If you agree that:

  • Outdoor adventure is a toolkit for courage, leadership, and truth-telling.

  • Storytelling is a form of advocacy.

  • Strategy + story = real community change.

  • Speaking up will always be scary. But Iโ€™ll help you make it worth it.

  • We need more women sharing their stories at full volume.

^Then letโ€™s be trail buddies. Weโ€™ll get along great.

So, where will your adventure take us?

If youโ€™re ready to turn your story into a strategy โ€” whether through a podcast, an event, a brand campaign, or a stage โ€” please say hello.

PS: I wear dresses on mountaintops to show that

1. There's no one way to look outdoorsy.

2. You can do hard things and still have fun.

3. Being a woman is multidimensionally awesome.
